Ben is a Solicitor in our Commerical team.
Ben provides advice and support to clients on all aspects of commercial contracts, including contracts for the supply of goods and services; standard terms and conditions; software development and licensing, including Software as a Service and managed services; distribution agreements; and projects (including joint ventures and collaboration agreements).
Supporting corporate colleagues with due diligence on the commercial and contractual aspects of acquisitions and works collaboratively with the data protection and employment teams.
Ben has experience across a range of sectors including technology, infrastructure and energy, retail, and manufacturing.
Ben advises and supports client at all levels, from start-ups and SMEs to large corporates and public bodies.
Examples of how Ben has supported clients include:
- Drafting range of bespoke commercial contracts including cybersecurity terms and conditions, memoranda of understanding on strategic projects and SaaS.
- Providing contract reviews on a range of commercial documents including manufacturing agreements, energy contracts and supply of goods and services contracts.
- Providing advice and strategic support to an exclusive distributor on their distribution agreements and commercial contracts.
